Abstract
This article reviews the current trends and future developments in brachytherapy. Established techniques including interstitial and high-dose rate brachytherapy are discussed with particular reference to lung, oesophageal, cervical and endometrial cancer. Intra-operative high-dose rate brachytherapy and other new tehniques are also mentioned. (C) 1997 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
