Abstract
(en) Establishing a proper dynastical genealogy of the Neo-Elamite kings occupied the thoughts of Elamologists for the last century. With only a dozen kings attested in Neo-Elamite documents for a period of nearly 500 years, one is forced to rely on Mesopotamian references. The Babylonian Chronicles are the primary aid to the reconstruction of a Neo-Elamite King list. However, the Babylonian accounts on the Elamite royalty reveal conflicting information with the Assyrian and Elamite sources. In this paper, I will therefore examine the value of the Babylonian Chronicles for the political history of the Neo-Elamite kingdom.
