Abstract
[Revisiting the «Tanguy» phenomenon: about retarded self-sufficiency in our post-adolescent population.] Financial, affective and health retarded autonomisation is now increasing in our post-adolescent population. Parents as well as parents-in-law are often disappointed with such a stagnation-process. The aim of the present paper is to propose - from an etymological standpoint - a provocative (pro-vocare) high lightening of such a phenomenon, which is clearly family-determined, even if sociologic and economic aspects are also co-existing. © Médecine et Hygiène.
