We have revalued a large variety of bond energy terms involving atoms of the first rows of the Periodic Table. We describe a series of interesting applications based on these bond energy terms, namely the determination of enthalpies of atomization and stabilization energies and the rationalization of the thermochemistry of elementary processes in the gas phase.
