Abstract
Using the basic model already developed in the first part of the study, two different ways to eliminate the questionable assumption related to the pressure value just downstream of the enlargement will be investigated. The method is semi-empirical because correlations are used to calculate the void fraction at different sections. An intermediate section is artificially introduced and the local void fraction is calculated as if the jet would discharge into an infinite medium. Good agreement with experimental data is obtained.
