(en) One studies, namely on the basis of the Congar archives, to what extent the context of the dominican "theological college" of Le Saulchoir (then at Kain-Tournai, Belgium) was favourable or not to the writing of the pioneer-book of the dominican Yves Congar in matter of Catholic "ecumenism", entitled "Chrétiens désunis" ("Divided Christendom") and published in 1937.
