In-vivo dosimetry used in clinical routine suffers from several limitations. In this study, we propose an innovative method that consists in using the patient himself/herself as a probe to measure the dose he/she receives. The irradiation beam induces a variation of the electric charge mainly due to secondary electrons generated by Compton effects inside the body. By measuring this electric charge during treatment, dose given to the patient could be estimated in real time.
