Abstract
Poly(methylphenyl)silane, 10(3) less than or equal to ($) over bar M(w) less than or equal to 10(5), can be synthesized from methylphenyldichlorosilane using graphite-potassium (C8K) suspended in THF at -20 to 25 degrees C.
