Abstract
This article advances a sociological analysis of the relationship between a patient and a group of carers when the latter operate as a network. In the context of psychiatric care, which will be investigated here, the patient is increasingly faced with a large number of carers. Care networking is a particular form of therapeutic relationship, which benefits nowadays from a certain legitimacy while at the same time raising important issues about quality, practical implementation, organization, as well as whether or how long it should be maintained.
