- Abstract
- The objective of this tutorial-review paper is to describe the known biological effects due to exposures to radiofrequency radiation, including microwaves. In technical applications, as a matter of fact, a growing number of electronic devices generate electromagnetic fields at various frequencies. Microwaves are commonly present at work or in house. As a result everybody is exposed to some non-ionizing electromagnetic waves and the linked questions about consequences on population health are growing.
