Abstract
We propose a model that explains differences in wages and unemployment rates between two regions. First, we show that when the two regions are in autarky, differences in firms, productive capacity lead to infer-regional differences in wages and unemployment rates. Second, whith free labor mobility, the migration equilibrium is characterized by the equality of expected utilities and there is no reason for wages and unemployment rates to be identical between the two regions.
