Abstract
(en) Cutaneous manifestations of azathioprine hypersensitivity have been scarcely reported in the scientific literature. In patients treated for inflammatory bowel disease, these manifestations must not be confounded with the cutaneous signs of the disease itself. We report a case of hypersensitivity in a patient suffering from ulcerative rectocolitis who developed multiple cutaneous manifestations after receiving azathioprine for 2 weeks.
