Abstract
(en) The presence or absence of Producer Services in a region is supposed to influence Regional Development. Nevertheless, the way in which these activities contribute to regional development is still very imperfectly understood. This paper is a combined theoretical-empirical analysis of 4 of these mechanisms: the employment effect, the exportation effect, the productivity effect and the attraction effect.
