Abstract
The sensitivity of maize strains to Rhopalosiphum padi was analysed by the determination of the demographic properties of the aphid on each strain and the study of natural infestation in field. Strong differences in aphid population development were observed according to the strains. These results show the potential of plant resistance for the implementation of Integrated Pest Management.
