Abstract
The objective of this paper is to describe the changes in the structure of the Ecuadorian executive function, in the period 2007–2017, through two strategies: first, a category change proposal, as a result of the documentary analysis of the normative texts and based on the grounded theory; second, the construction of a database that registers all of the changes and that allows different exploratory and descriptive analyses.
