Abstract
(en) Communication on corporate social responsibility (CSR) is analyzed in different ways today. Its visual dimension, concerning the use of fixed and moving images, is less scrutinized. This paper proposes a qualitative exploration, made with semiotic tools, aimed at the proposition of a typology of images that are present in the CSR sections of corporate websites of some important French businesses. The environmental aspect of CSR will be specifically analyzed. This analysis is a contribution to the description of the visual rhetoric of today’s corporate responsibility.
