Estimating arm kinematics has a lot of relevance for rehabilitation. MARG sensors are good candidates but there is a lack of clarity on the choice of the best procedure to initialize them. This study aims to evaluate two widespread methods. This contribution surveys a paper recently presented to the BioRob conference 2012 [1].
