Abstract
This article reflect on the subject of the necessarily conditions for the clinic and ethnography to become research methods in the knowledge field of human being. The proposal is that the kind of facts that interest this researches are “signification facts”; therefore, their investigation methodologies must abandon hard models to qualify the statute of data, and must refer to flexible models which allow observations or discourses that are not objectivable. But without this facts it is difficult to understand what is essential about the problems that are investigated in a cualitative way. What is heard and what is seen has certain characteristics as “data”, and therefore it is proposed an articulation between both sources of information disassociated from the methodological metonymy that take form by considering what is observed as a self-sufficient totatility.
