Abstract
(en) The idea that the first pages of the Bible (Gen 1-3) constitute a theological and anthropological discourse about creation and that they contain a revelation as definitive as it is unique on human life seems to go without saying. However, might this be founded on a kind of denial of the mythic genre and the narrative nature of these texts which, as all written documents, encode a specific and culturally located vision? The author re-examines these texts in a new light to see if what they have to say about the difference between humanity and nature, between man and woman, is not more complex and nuanced than what tradition has retained, and to see if these immemorial texts might hold hidden resources that would enable us to think out the anthropological issues raised in our postmodern societies
