(en) As European priority, the fight against the drug trafficking will not escape the legislative activity of the European Union Council in the criminal field as shows the adoption of the Council Framework Decision, on October 20, 2004, laying down minimum provisions on the constituent elements of criminal acts and penalties in the field of illicit drug trafficking. We question the legitimacy and the relevance of these decision in consideration of the objectives which she intends to pursue and in the light of her recent evaluation by the European Commission.
