Abstract
The paper starts from the idea that there are many ways to change the world. One of these ways is everyday action that insinuates itself into existing systems, including capitalism. Change can occur through how economic activity is practised on a daily basis. The contribution of the paper is to show how some people do this in practice, through feminist businesses. These businesses engage with markets, but in ways that seek to change the kinds of markets that exist, not to exit markets altogether.
