The second-order Fourier coefficients (<math altimg="si2.svg"><msub><mrow><mi>v</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>2</mn></mrow></msub></math>) characterizing the azimuthal distributions of Image 3 and Image 4 mesons produced in PbPb collisions at <math altimg="si1.svg"><msqrt><mrow><msub><mrow><mi>s</mi></mrow><mrow><msub><mrow/><mrow><mi mathvariant="normal">NN</mi></mrow></msub></mrow></msub></mrow></msqrt><mo linebreak="goodbreak" linebreakstyle="after">=</mo><mn>5.02</mn><mspace width="0.25em"/><mtext>TeV</mtext></math> are studied. The Image 5 mesons are reconstructed in their dimuon decay channel, as measured by the CMS detector. The collected data set corresponds to an integrated luminosity of <math altimg="si4.svg"><mn>1.7</mn><mspace width="0.25em"/><msup><mrow><mtext>nb</mtext></mrow><mrow><mo linebreak="badbreak" linebreakstyle="after">−</mo><mn>1</mn></mrow></msup></math>. The scalar product method is used to extract the <math altimg="si2.svg"><msub><mrow><mi>v</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>2</mn></mrow></msub></math> coefficients of the azimuthal distributions. Results are reported for the rapidity range <math altimg="si5.svg"><mo stretchy="false">|</mo><mi>y</mi><mo stretchy="false">|</mo><mo linebreak="goodbreak" linebreakstyle="after"><</mo><mn>2.4</mn></math>, in the transverse momentum interval <math altimg="si6.svg"><mn>0</mn><mo linebreak="goodbreak" linebreakstyle="after"><</mo><msub><mrow><mi>p</mi></mrow><mrow><mi mathvariant="normal">T</mi></mrow></msub><mo linebreak="goodbreak" linebreakstyle="after"><</mo><mn>50</mn><mspace width="0.25em"/><mtext>GeV</mtext><mo stretchy="false">/</mo><mi>c</mi></math>, and in three centrality ranges of 10–30%, 30–50% and 50–90%. In contrast to the <math altimg="si7.svg"><mi mathvariant="normal">J</mi><mo stretchy="false">/</mo><mi mathvariant="italic">ψ</mi></math> mesons, the measured <math altimg="si2.svg"><msub><mrow><mi>v</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>2</mn></mrow></msub></math> values for the Image 5 mesons are found to be consistent with zero.
