- (en) [Acute pancreatitis as a complication of massive hemolysis in patients on hemodialysis: About three observations] Haemolysis is an uncommon complication of haemodialysis which can be serious. We herein report on three patients with kidney failure who developed acute pancreatitis due to mechanical haemolysis during a haemodialysis session. We also review the current literature and discuss putative etiopathogenic mechanisms.
