Abstract
(en) The Cinema of the Middle East in recent years provides a real opportunity to study for practical theology. Living together, staged as often effective stories shed a light on some themes as those of the stranger, the borders, the role of women, all driven by hope and sometimes by humor in conflicting frameworks. The theologian finds that the question of otherness is central to stories: an otherness overdue a transformation that requires the look on the other keeping a distance with the usual familiar/stranger frames, friend/ennemy tant can only lead ultimately violence if they are not by the esteem, the kindness, the gratitude, in a word, by the "love of other".
