We report the observation of 4 cases of Lyme carditis, a rare expression of borreliosis, with various expression and severity that presented consecutively in a medium-sized hospital in Belgium. This series reminds us that Borrelia-linked damage to the myocardium and the conductive tissue represents two separate entities independent in terms of intensity and evolution. It also highlights the importance of a careful exclusion of potentially reversible causes for conduction disorders, especially in young subjects. Finally, the occurrence of four cases in a short chronological interval and a restricted geographical area raises the question of borreliosis “hot spots” that show cardiac tropism.
