Abstract
TRIP-assisted multiphase steels constitute one of the most recent categories of advanced high strength automotive steels. The present chapter will first show how the successive phase transformations needed to shape their microstructures rely on previous solutions of the physical metallurgy of low alloys steels. A general overview of the main features of their thermomechanical processing will then be presented.
