Abstract
(en) In Belgium, a recent report of an interdisciplinary research centre shows notably that the teachers in physical education are those that say themselves the most satisfied with their continuous training. Besides, the expertise of the annual continuous training of teachers in physical education belonging to the catholic network of the French Community of Belgium, led in 1997 by six academics, underlined the interest of a research aiming at assess the impact of these three days of training on the teaching practices. With this intention a questionnaire was addressed to the thousand trainees of the training course 1999. The statistical analysis of the 445 returned specimens shows, inter alia, that this multi-field and centralised training course arrives at the head of the resources taking part in the construction of the teaching practice, that it has a deep impact on the motivation of the teachers and on their educational choices and that it arouses at 89,6 % of the teachers a reinvestment in the course of the year. Without questioning the current concern about integration, within the teaching local contexts, of sharp modules of training dedicated to a reduced number of teachers, the evoked results feed the reflection on the systems and the stakes in the continuous training of the teachers in physical education.
